Vacation

I’m now on vacation for three fantabolus weeks, I hope that mean the opposite for the blog. I feel like I should have all the time in the world to update this little baby!

I’ve started of with bubble galore…

This time we are looking at Rome, Las Palmas and Gotham city. For now I’ll just chill 🙂

Peace out ma peeps…

Part 1 complete, part 2 begins

After a few hours of working in my room last night and a good night’s sleep, it was time for day two of the conference.

Hotel brekkie is always better than home. And the meeting from for the day wasn’t bad either.
We only had an hour before first break and a Virgin Mary, obviously they expect the participants to really party hard when visiting…

I even managed to score a fantastic lunch before jumping into a taxi that would take me to the Centralstation of Lund.

Now I’m sitting on my train towards Gotham listening to Four Seasons keeping my fingers crossed that the trainjinx will stay away this time.

Procrastination anyone?

Three sleeps to conference with work, four sleeps to a ski trip with the whole family and eight sleeps to Thailand…all in one suitcase…
I need to buy a new bikini as I lost mine in Vietnam, I need to visit a pharmacy – today preferably. And I need to figure out what and how to pack. What am I doing?

Drinking coffee and reading redicolous discussions on Facebook about parents that call the school and say their kids are sick because the school said no for time off for a vacation.

The master of procrastination is in da house!!!

Travel day

I had three different flights to make my way down to Vietnam, the first one was Copenhagen to Düsseldorf where I realized my time between flights were so short I started hoping for a no-show on my bag in Vietnam.

Next stop was Abu Dhabi where I met up with my lovely friend and travel companion The Queen herself. We had another short, but longer than expected due to a delay, layover before getting on the flight that would take us to our final destination; Ho Chi Minh and degrees around 30 (late in the evening).
After checking in to our hotel (and murdering a cockroach) we walked the all in all ten meters to the closest street that had food and beer. Springrolls, dumplings and the local beer, heaven for a Scandinavian used to Scandinavian prices!

Now it’s bed time with the alarm set for The Queens busy schedule tomorrow.

I think it’s time to give up on Tod

I still haven’t heard a word from Tod, I doubt that I will! I will pack these posts away to the archive and realize that the people of Denmark/Sweden are not what I expected. It’s disappointing that he didn’t get to go on his travels, nothing I can do about it though!

Well, when I finished cleaning my apartment, there might be a stuffed animal or two too many, I might just give it a second try, then, for now it really is Bye Bye Tod!

Another day, another train

It is Tuesday and I am working from home, well currently working from the train (thank god for mobile internet). Since I have an appointment at 18:00 I have this feeling that there might be some delays on this trip. I do hope it will be fine, after all the train is due in Malmö at 16:30.

I will now do my first attempt on live blogging – you will get an update on all the major happenings on this trip, just watch this space!

14:02 – Train leave Gotham City on time

15:02 – One hour passed and not a single issue (and the service is great today), maybe live blogging is the key to keeping the train jinx away.

15:22 – Waiting for a report to refresh, so while I do that I will admit that this must be one of the most boring live blogging exercises ever!

15:56 – Whoop, whoop. The train just left the platform at Hässleholm, one more stop and then we arrive in Malmö. To my joy, the train left 6 minutes late thus I had something to update here!

16:26 – We just arrived in Lund 10 minutes late, but looking at the webpage for the train company, they still estimate us to be on time in Malmö 4 minutes from now. I wonder if there is a magic wormhole between Lund and Malmö now a days…

16:33 – Full stop! We are standing at a signal waiting for green light (I know anyone going by train in and around Copenhagen know exactly how that feels).

16:43 – We arrived, only 13 minutes late.

That concludes this live blogging session!
